For the buffet, the price is dependent on the style of food you would like and the amount you would like to allow per person.

Cold buffet options could include:

• Whole sides of salmon decorated with smoked salmon and prawns

• Home roasted brown sugar and mustard glazed gammon

• Seafood platter

• Platters of home cooked and continental meats and pork pie

• Coronation chicken

• Large open puff pastry tarts containing anchovy, onion and olive (pissaladiere) or goats cheese, red onion and tomato

• Frittata containing roasted vegetables

• Quiches of blue cheese and red onion or salmon and prawn or cheddar and bacon

• Chicken liver pate, smoked mackerel pate, smoked salmon pate

• New potato salad, Mediterranean pasta salad, roasted vegetable cous cous, salad nicoise, Greek salad, panzanella, caesar salad, tomato and mozzarella salad, green salad.

• Selection of breads and butter and condiments: mayonnaise, chutney, mustard, pickles, hollandaise sauce and horseradish.

Depending on what you choose these options would start from £24 a head for generous portions each of the dressed salmon, gammon, one of the tarts or quiches, chicken liver pate, potato salad, coleslaw, green salad, bread and condiments. If you wanted more expensive options and more variety the price would increase accordingly.

I can provide finger sandwiches (six to a round with the crusts cut off with assorted fillings to include smoked salmon, beef and horseradish, ham and mustard, cream cheese and spring onion, grated cheese, tuna mayonnaise, cucumber and egg mayonnaise

• Homemade buttered scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream.

• A selection of small cakes to include chocolate tiffin, lemon drizzle cake, buttered fruit yorkshire tea loaf, flapjacks and coffee walnut cake.

• Puff pastry sausage rolls and Quiche Lorraine.

Example Pricing - Six savoury sandwiches with assorted fillings, a scone (2 halves) with jam and clotted cream, two cakes, a sausage roll and small piece of quiche would cost £15 per head.
