Having completed my degree in Classics at University College London in 2006 I decided I had had enough of Latin and Greek to last me a lifetime. I knew I wanted to work for myself and have always had a passion for food, my family joke that I can remember nearly every meal I’ve ever eaten! I enjoyed cookery from a young age, learning much from watching my mother and grandmother in the kitchen and loved home economics lessons at school.

I set up “Rosie’s Home Cooking” in 2007 originally to provide a tasty and home cooked meals on wheels service, as my grandparents were not impressed with the options available to them locally. Later on I expanded into catering for special events such as weddings, christenings, funerals and parties. As well as providing food for dinner parties, holiday homes and beach picnics for both locals and visitors to the town.

I now live In Wenhaston with my husband Wes and my son Leo. Since having my little boy I mainly focus on catering for small events, dinner parties and holiday homes.
